The Brick is the Trick. But the finest bread and cheese and a pan full of know how don’t hurt…..

Sorry Mr. Obama….you will be missed but not forgotten. (nor completely sold out…..a few in each size left!)

The hand that touched us all in the beginning....

The hand that touched us all in the beginning....

I am proud to have started this all by saying Mr. Obama was and still is like me.  Lefty and beyond that.  The site and the theme of the next shirt in the series is one of those that goes beyond that.  Although I apologize for the temporarily break in your regularly scheduled Lefty-isms, I know that this discussion and declaration is something that is shared and enjoyed by all.

And what I am talking about is the Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

We all know it.  We all love it.  Sometimes we all come together to find out who’s we love of them all.  As far as I know this world seems to only be coming together under the ceremony that is the 1st 7th Annual National Grilled Cheese Invitational.  It’s going to get complicated when the *cough* winner is fighting with the previous winners on who was the real 1st 1st and so on but that’s Kraft’s damn fault for getting involved and creating such a funny mess.  Nevertheless, the reason I talk so boldly and so mightily about this and come brazen with my formula from my chest is not just because I am some average cheese sandwich creator but because I have already cleared my hometown and now have set my sites on king kong’ing it’s hometown.  Los Angeles.  A town I have flown in and flown over but never stepped foot on a single piece of it’s vast cemented land.

I am going to dedicate the days leading up to and including the competition to one aspect of my sandwich (bread, butter, cheese) and then follow up the competition with the secret ingredient’s fabled history (le brick).  Today I give you the very very limited edition “The Brick is the Trick” shirt that is headed to L.A. for its exclusive sale! After trying the product everyone is going to want to remember the secret and share it with others and I’m proud to spread the cheesy love.  I actually showed it to my inspiration online and all my grandma said was, “Well I hope that I am getting one of those.”  That’s right folks the french founder herself loved the shirt and is happy with showing others the trick that warmed my heart and my belly often.  Don’t be left out!

Enjoy the preview as this is only the demo version of the back side.  We keep the front of the shirt till tomorrow for a thrilling and stunning all-access look!!!!!

    I see that you have learned well from your grandmother and have carried it to new culinary heights. Your grandmother’s education coupled with the excellent genetics you have received from you parents has made you a winner. Both the tee shirt and web site are fantastique.

  3. admin says:

    alas dear couz but your initial equation is wrong. It’s (Brick)/(Br+C+Bu)/(Pan)=WGCS.

    feel free to give it another try and let me know what the results come up w/ this time. Although this public breakdown allows for others to learn the true essence of the equation.

  4. Michael Davidson says:

    According to your shirt and when simplified:

    ((Brick)(Pan)/(Bread+Cheese+Butter)=(Winning)(Grilled)(Cheese)(Sandwich)

    BP/(Br+C+Bu)=WGCS

    (Bread+Cheese+Butter)=Sandwich

    BP/S=WGCS

    Cancel S

    BP=WGC

    Pan=Grill

    BG=WGC

    Divide by G

    B=WC

    So your statement about the brick being the trick is only true if you have the winning cheese.

    Something you might want to think about.
