Change has come in most unexpected places for them both. While I first thought something a lot sexier was going to come our way in the form of clothing lines it seems like this ones going to be a lot smarter. So smart most people have never even learned of the practice until it was unleashed twice now upon the masses of the East Bay. The first time it went practically unnoticed at 4th place…..the second time it drunkenly and stubbornly stood closely waiting for the megaphone ultimate victory and the mania that ensued. Brick! Brick! Brick! Brick! The people had learned, loved, laughed, and lived. But sadly some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. Today I would like to announce that I have registered for the 1st 7th National Grilled Cheese Invitational and will be bringing the brick to its rightful place. The legend of the brick will return to win the hearts and souls of all who dare taste it’s oozy creations. For this special occasion, I want to spread the knowledge and the power to everyone by creating a “The Brick is the Trick” limited print run T-shirt for the competition. I will be selling the limited edition T-shirt/Cooking Brick Combo @ the competition and hopefully locally so stay tuned! Each brick will be autographed and include a random sketch of one of the losing “Brick is the Trick” sketches hand drawn by the your lefty handed champ chef himself.

Sketch #3: An homage to end the trilogy that ends with Grandma’s Glory? One brick to rule them all. One brick to heat them. One brick to bring them all….and at the contest beat them.

100 days……Wow. This site definitely has the wear and tear of 100 days of whirlwind work and cutting edge change all over the place.
So, as Obama is entrenched in a forest of economies, crises, levies, and bevies that he can barely see his way out of.
I will drive down for the first time to a land that has been cleared of all forest and paved with cheese, no trees, and plenty of fake titties.
I only got one line for tinsletown and its Kraft-y competition: I’m going to do what everyone dreams of doing…..drive in as an average cheese chef and leave a sammy celebrity!

I was at the invitational today in L.A. and I just want to know what are the ingredients of that DAMN DELICIOUS SAMMICH!!!!!! GOD it was G.R.E.A.T!!!!! please e-mail me with the cheeses, I believe one was Wisconson cheddar, but I cant pinpoint the other..PLEASE tell me….

Hey Cheese Champ – I think the front of the shirt should be Sketch #4 (top half) with a big yellow Smiley face “Say Cheese” slogan/logo and the back should be Sketch #2 (bottom half) showing the step-by-step with the brick in the diagram. And after the “equal” sign maybe say “Champion Grilled Cheese” instead of “Winning Grilled Cheese.” Atta boy! Short, simple, and to-the-point. Like a good grilled cheese.
Sketch 5 and 2 are awesome!!!!!! The concert list is pretty good too if you could incoporate. Looking forward to seeing and tasting your works!
My 1st, long awaited comment, I know you were waiting w/bated breath, LLM Masta. (What’s the LLM stand for?) Anyway, so you wanna know what I think about the shirts huh? OK, well, I think, for me, #1 has to go to #4 sketch (that little blob of cheese just melted my heart…and the way his face looks when the brick is about to squish is reminiscent of mr. bill from snl, which brings back simpler days). #2 is #8 sketch; I like all the crazy action lines as you call them. #3 is the #1 sketch. Funny and historical. As you can see, my preference is for the simpler, less cluttered dwgs. I like all the others, but some of them have a little too much going on & it’s hard to focus…but maybe that’s b/c I’m slightly ADD and/or it just looks cluttered on the dwg & would look different on the shirt. Whatever, Trevor, that’s my vote.
Btw, I reviewed the video you had on your last posting. That was awesome!! That bike ride was badass, I was impressed how still the cameraman kept the camera; was that your roomie?? Who was Renard? Oh and I opted for the mystical experience, I almost threw up. He should have a disclaimer on that for people who get motion sickness.
